Peas with Peanuts, Pecans and Cashews

Ingredients
  • 2 kilograms peas in their pods
  • 750 grams small onions
  • 100 milliliters water
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 50 grams butter (diced)
  • 30 grams flour
  • 20 grams peanuts (roughly chopped)
  • 20 grams pecans (roughly chopped
  • 20 grams cashews (roughly chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions
  1. 1) Brown the onions in oil. 

    2) Add the peas, sugar and water. 

    3) Cover and cook on a low heat for 20 minutes. 

    4) Combine the butter and flour and mix until you have a smooth dough. 

    5) Using your hands, roll the dough into balls and add them to the pan. 

    6) Add the ginger, peanuts, pecans, cashews and the salt. 

    7) Cook on a low heat for ten minutes to let the ingredients infuse.
